About a month ago I shared a story of my friend with breast cancer. She has had her surgery and the news are very hopeful for her. If you told a prayer for her it worked. Good thoughts disperse good energy!

Merle, that's her name, has come out of her ordeal as one would expect from a lady whose inner strength is so bountiful that she could support anyone else around. I am not going to go into specifics here, this one detail should be sufficient. When she came back from Spain to take care of her health, she also brought along homeless dog she and her daughter had adopted during their stay there. Something funny - they named the dog Barbi!

Those days she has had to slow down as she is between chemotherapy sessions and can not go to work. However, on better days she cheers herself up with her favorite pastime activity - painting.
