Airi Enge

Airi is a native Estonian - born and raised in Estonia. She holds a B.A. in Estonian Philology from Tartu University. Following her graduation she worked for 3 years as an Estonian language and literature teacher in Räpina, a quaint small town in southeast of Estonia.

After marrying she relocated to the U.S.A. where she worked as a substitute teacher, interpreter and chaperone for the Miss Universe pageant as well as freelance translator and interpreter.

Since Enge Translations started in 1999 in Estonia she has been translating happily ever after. Her most public translating projects include book translations to Estonian. Besides translating she takes delight teaching Estonian online. And currently she is back in Estonia with her kids to immerse them deep into Estonian language and culture.
