Comparison

Comparison is modification or inflection of an adjective or adverb to denote the positive, comparative, and superlative degrees. Here we discuss just adjectives. As you now a positive doesn’t have any distinction. The comparative degree is expressed in Estonian by suffix –m added to the genitive root. The superlative can be expressed by a long or short way. The longer uses the ‘kõige’ preposition plus a comparative form. The shorter form utilizes the suffix –im to be added to the genitive root.
